| Whiskey Island Marina is
more than just a place to dock your boat. With friendly staff, great
amenities, good food, fun events, and amazing views, it's the best
place in Cleveland to sit back, relax, and have fun. It offers amazing
experiences and great friends, and has become a home away from home
for many. Whiskey Island Marina was born in 1995 from the vision of Dan T. Moore. Dan saw potential amid rubble and ruin, driftwood and sunken treasure piled up along the lakeshore where the Cuyahoga River meets Lake Erie. After a lot of work and clean up, Whiskey Island emerged as one of the most beautiful areas on Cleveland's lakefront. Like many places in Cleveland, Whiskey Island is rich in history. The Marina was once used as a shipyard, a distillery, an old Irish immigrant shantytown, and a U.S. coast guard station, Today it is a full-service 230 slip Marina that offers many types of dockage, a restaurant, boat repairs and service, a dry slip area, a member-only bathroom facility, a playground for the kids, security, and access to Wendy Park, Cleveland's newest lakefront park.
